Increase Your PeaceSample
Walk in Peace, and Always Be Thankful
Well, you’ve made it to the last day of this Bible Plan!
Today, you only have one Bible verse to read. Spend time with it. Let it get deep inside your heart. First, listen to the verse song video that you heard on Day 1. Remember, it’s taken from Colossians 3:15, using the NLT version.
Today, there are a lot of questions you can ask yourself. Really spend time thinking about your answers. Challenge yourself to walk away from this Bible Plan a different person.
Peace is important. It’s important for you. And it’s important for the whole world. Challenge yourself to become someone who walks in peace and who makes peace.
Ask yourself: What’s something I thought about as I read through this Bible Plan that I don’t want to forget? How can I remember to turn to God for peace when I’m restless or heartbroken? How can I join God in restoring what’s broken and making peace? How can I live out the last part of today’s Bible verse, using thankfulness to live in peace?
Challenge yourself: How much of Colossians 3:15 can you say from memory? Grab a paper and something to write with, and write it out. Make drawings and designs around it that remind you of what Christ’s peace looks like in your heart, what it looks like to live in peace, and what it looks like to always be thankful. Remember, the verse song from today uses the NLT version of the Bible. It might help you remember it to write it in that version, too.
Pray: God, thank You for Your amazing gift of peace. It changes things. It changes people. It changes me. Help me to walk in Your peace every day of my life. In Jesus’ name, amen.
