Grace Filled Nursing

DAY 1 OF 4

Enabling Grace

What does Grace have to do with nursing?  I’m so glad you asked my friend. Grace has everything to do with nursing, if you let it. Grace is God’s unmerited favor in, through, and around us. Grace enables us to do the will of God here on the earth.  Grace empowers us to go boldly to His throne of Grace and receive help in time of need.

Are you doing nursing apart from God’s grace? Do you desire to become a stronger nurse as we maneuver through this pandemic? Anxiety, stress, fatigue, burnout, depression, and exhaustion are common threads among nurses. Often we feel unappreciated, overlooked, and underpaid. My friend, this is not your portion. God has called you to greater! He has equipped you for such a time as this. You have been called to be a Grace-Filled Nurse.

This devotional will give you insight, wisdom, and understanding regarding God’s heart for nurses. It’s designed to grow, transform, mature, and propel you forward on your nursing journey. It will help guide you through this unprecedented time with greater joy, peace, hope, and grace.  Change is coming my friend, and it will manifest itself as you yield to the working of the Holy Spirit in your life.

You are the hands and feet of Jesus. You have the power to invite God into every circumstance and situation that you face.  In John 15:5, Jesus told us that without Him, we can do nothing. Nursing is a gift. God has called us to steward lives. To help the helpless, heal the broken, show compassion, and bring comfort. No longer will we compromise our faith, ethics, or standards. As a fellow Believer and nurse, I understand the challenges and oppositions we face daily. Nevertheless, that does not give us the right to cower back.  I believe God is calling us to rise higher in power and strength. Today, choose to release God’s grace, compassion, and peace on the Earth like never before and become A Grace-Filled Nurse.
