Am I Loved?Sample
God is Love
Love is of God and everyone that loves is born of God. Only people who have received God’s love can give God’s love. Do you know God? Have you been born of God? Have you received God’s love? Do you realize that God loves you? You might not be loved by your parents like you thought you should. You might not have even known your parents, or one or both died and you have that empty spot inside of you. Maybe you had a marriage that didn’t work out or some other relationship where love was just shattered and broken and you were left wondering how you could ever love again.
We must come back to this place and understand what God’s love is. This is the crux of the matter – God is love. This is the key. This is where we need to stop and ponder this. God doesn’t merely love – God is love. It is who He is; He has to love. This isn’t a sappy, Valentine’s Day-type of love. This is love that is transformative and incredible.
God has this attribute that is part of Who He is. It is His chief attribute. Yes, He has other attributes: He is holy, just, and righteous. Those are super important, and we cannot love unless we are holy, righteous, and just. His love is going to do the best for us. His love is not going to let us do whatever we want to do. God cannot wink at sin because He is perfect and holy. He is love.
How do we understand this? We understand it by knowing that God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son. He knew we were sinners and would have to be separated from Him forever in a place He created for the devil and demons. But He loves us and sent His son to die on a cross for us. God loved us before we loved Him. That is love.

About this Plan
What is love? Is love as superficial as the word we use it to describe everything from food to people? Am I loved for who I am or what I do? Does God love me?
