Key Events: Key Historical Events Of The BibleSample
Judah
We are jumping back in time to review events in Judah. Abijah succeeds Rehoboam as king of Judah. Although Judah does not always have good kings, Abijah is one of the good ones, and God gave him success.
It is important to note what Abijah said when entering into battle against Israel. He based his attack on the fact that Israel was rebelling against God. He wasn’t relying on his army, but on God. In our lives, we need to take action, but we also need to rely on God.
