How To Live With Your FamilySample
Your Family, Your Future
Today’s Scripture reading is directed toward parents about their kids, but what you can take from it is the fact that you can choose to follow the right path regardless of what your family looks like. You can be the one to determine how you act toward others now and who you’ll become in your future.
Do you think that people act out of what their family situations are like? Do “bad” kids come from bad families and “good” kids come from good families?
Here’s the answer: only if they let it be that way. Families do shape who you become both positively and negatively. But you choose to let it determine how you act. If you come from a tough family situation, you have a choice to make. You can either choose to let it impact you negatively or find positive examples of how to become who God wants you to be.
So seek out the right path, the godly path, so that you can be who God intends you to be right now and so that you will continue to be who He wants you to be in your future.
God knew the family you would have—even whether it would be good or not-so-good. Remember, He will use your family to help you become the person that He wants you to be.
