Quick Question: Why Do Bad Things Happen?Sample
I don’t know about you, but joy is not the first thing I feel when I face trouble.
This passage is a challenging one. But, it doesn’t just stop by saying consider troubles a joy. It goes on to say that troubles are an opportunity to test your faith. The more you trust God during troubles, the more your faith will grow. And, the more your faith grows, the closer you are to Jesus.
Being close to Jesus is right where we want to be.
As you wrap up this reading plan, I want to remind you God is with you no matter what you face. You can trust him. Continue to draw close to God and continue reading your Bible and praying. As you do that, your faith will grow stronger and stronger.
Challenge: Today, we challenge you to continue reading your Bible daily and start your day by talking to God.

About this Plan
Bad things happen all of the time. We often find ourselves asking, "why?" Over the next 10 days, we'll take a look at this question and see what the authors of the Bible have to say about this.
