Who You Say I Am - Part 1Sample

Who You Say I Am - Part 1

DAY 6 OF 15

Where is the most remote, far away, place you have travelled?

An island called Tristan da Cunha is a group of volcanic islands in the South Atlantic. Only 258 people live there and they make up only nine different families. You can only get there nine times in a year, when a ship makes the 2,787 kilometre (1,732 mile) journey from Cape Town, South Africa. Tristan de Cunha is said to be the most remote group of islands in the world.

The remote Russian town of Oymyakon is known as the coldest inhabited place on earth. The 500 people who live there are in darkness for 21 hours a day during winter and the average temperate is -50c (-58F) degrees making it impossible to grow food there.

Pitcairn Island is 5311 kilometres (3,300 miles) from New Zealand. No plane or helicopter has ever landed there, so it takes a 32 hour yacht journey to get there.

Barrow is at the very top of Alaska and there are no roads to get there, so you have to travel by plane, and in winter it’s dark for 65 days straight!

The Kerguelen Islands in the Indian Ocean are only accessible by ship four days a year. It’s 3219 kilometres (2,000 miles) from the southern most part of Africa and for 300 days a year it’s either raining or snowing.

How far away do you think you would need to travel to be away from God’s presence? God is with us no matter where we go. We are never alone, God promises He will never leave us. We can declare, “I am not alone”.

Read today’s verses to discover just how close God is!

About this Plan

Who You Say I Am - Part 1

The Bible tells us who God is, but did you know it also tells us who God says YOU are? Declare God's truth over your life: I am chosen, I am not alone, I am a child of God.
