Seek to Be Wise

Psalm 111:10a

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom...

God is the source of wisdom. He is not only wise, but also longs to share His wisdom with you and me. Being wise starts with fearing and respecting God. To fear God means to live according to His word. In other words, we need to obey all His commands and get rid of the things that do not please God. When you do these, you will walk in the wisdom of God.

We have to make decisions every single day, from the smallest things to the most significant matters. When you have God’s wisdom in you, you will know the right decisions to make. Being wise is knowing the right thing to do and the right time to do it. 

Pray to God and read His word each day. Live your life according to His word. Ask for God’s wisdom daily before you start your day. God gives wisdom to you generously when you ask. Let’s seek to be wise and let’s praise God for His wisdom!

Prayer

Dear God, please give me Your wisdom and may I have a heart that obeys You so that I can walk in Your wisdom daily. Amen.
