The Missing Link: From Belief to FaithSample
Day 3: Faith
“Faith is the substance of things hoped for” Pause and think about this for a moment...faith is the manifestation of things “hoped for.” So, what are you hoping for? Is it some random life goals or aspirations that you have selected along your journey? Or are you intentional in believing God and coming into agreement with what He has already promised for you?
Over my life, I noticed that God, my Father, has presented many opportunities for me to build my faith. Some have been joyous and others, not so pleasant. All of them combined have made me the person I am. I discovered that agreeing with God’s promises over my life has been the most secure and consistent way for my faith to grow.
There is a connection between believing and having faith. It is agreeing with God and His word related to our finances, our singleness, our marriage, our parenting, etc. God cares about us and wants our faith to increase. He even tells us that without faith it is impossible to please Him.
There is true power in what you believe because this influences your thoughts and words. There is a great call in growing in faith. It is the substance from which things hoped for is created, but the missing link in the middle is the step of agreeing with God on all matters concerning you
We define agreement as acknowledging the promises of God through scripture so that we gain a better understanding of His will. Believe, acknowledge God’s word and promises, then walk in faith. Got it?... Good for you.

About this Plan
When we consider the concept of believing God, on the surface it sounds pretty simple. Just believe, right? If we are honest though, believing is the start, but there are some prayers that seem to be deferred in getting answered. In this devotional we will discuss the pathway from belief to faith.
