The Greatest Gift of Christmas in ASLSample

A Savior has born
It was about that time Augustus Caesar sent out an order to all people under Roman Rule. The order said that everyone’s name must be put on a list. This was the first counting of all people while Quirinus was governor of Syria. Everyone traveled to their own hometown to have their name put on the list.
So Joseph left Nazareth, a town in Galilee, and went to the town of Bethlehem in Judea. It was known as the town of David. Joseph registered with Mary because she was engaged to marry him.( She was now pregnant) While Joseph and Mary were in Bethlehem, the time came for her to have the baby. She gave birth to her first son and wrapped him well and laid him in a box where cattle are fed. She put him there because the guest room was full.
While Joseph was trying to find a room for him and Mart, they had no choice but to go to a place where all the other animals were, and there Jesus was born. Was the place they stayed in fancy? Of course not. It was very poor but that was the perfect place they could find to lay their son, Jesus, in a manger of hay.
Questions
- Where was Jesus born?
- Why did they lay Jesus in a manger (food box)?
