God’s Word matters more than the air we breathe. 

Have you ever thought about how fragile the human body is? Science shows that the human body completely shuts down within a matter of minutes when unable to breathe. In just minutes, everything can be over.

Or is it everything? 

It isn’t if we have faith in the promise of eternal life found in the Bible: “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9). God’s desire is that all people would be saved (1 Timothy 2:4). 

Today, over 2,000 people groups are still without access to the message of God’s salvation and love. 

As your heart breaks for what breaks God’s heart, you can help to change this number. “For in Him we live and move and have our being” (Acts 17:28). You are a world-changer because the spirit of the creator of this world lives in you! 

Prayer habit #2: Pray a breath prayer. 

Create a breath prayer to impact the eternal work of Bible translation—a very short and memorable prayer to say under your breath throughout the day. Use your breaths in this short life to provide the thing that matters more than our very breath: God’s Word. Here is one example of a popular breath prayer for Bible translation: “Jesus, you are the desire of the nations. Speed up and empower the Bible translation movement.
