Now With Natalie: UnashamedSample
Committed to Persevere
No matter what your purpose looks like in this life, your ability to persevere is something that will always serve you well. Scripture encourages us in this way, with two notable examples.
1. And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up (Galatians 6:9, ESV).
Did you catch the promise of that verse? “We will reap.” What you have sown, what you have given, the time and energy you have invested in your purpose will reap a harvest. The key is to persevere.
2. We rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us (Romans 5:3–5, ESV).
What a powerful perspective to apply to the circumstances of our lives. Because, while God isn’t showing us here that He is responsible for suffering, He is helping us uncover the reality that in every season and situation, as we endure, we can be renewed with newfound hope and a greater revelation of His love.
Personal Reflection

About this Plan
Culture often dictates that our worth, path, and identity are determined by our race, gender, the things we’ve done, and the things that have been done to us. Over the next 30 days, we will discover what it looks like to be bold, transparent, and confront our shame.
