Goal GettersSample
Clarity is what we get when we turn our goals into a full-color, internalized vision.
God did it first. He thought it, saw it in His mind’s eye, said it and it happened. What happens in your life—any endeavor—begins first in your mind, through visualization.
Here’s the step that will take you from the typical “I have goals on a piece of paper somewhere” to “I wrote it, I did it, and I put the trophy on the shelf.” You’re going to focus and internalize your 7-10 goals until they become a part of you.
It’s time to flex your hustle muscle. God isn’t going to simply drop success into your lap. He’s going to give you a plan. He’s going to give you a purpose. He’s going to give you a pursuit, and then He’s going to ask you to pursue it. I’m going to tell you how. Are you ready?
How do you move toward your goals?
- You’re going to write your goals down.
- Every day for 30 days.
- You’re going to write them down very specifically.
On day 31, after you’ve been looking at your Post-It Notes, you’re going to start adding images to your goals. You need a vision board to correct your vision every single day so you can see clearly what God has planted in you, instead of what you think you can accomplish on your own. IT does no good if you make one and then put it in the closet.
Make your vision board.
You need to see with the eyes of your imagination, your heart, your faith. Let God illuminate that thing on the inside of you. Now, add that to your vision board.
In the next chapter, we’re going to take these images and make a concrete action plan that will take us toward realizing our goals. Are you ready? Get your vision board set up, and let’s move on to step three.
