ACCEPTING THE FAVOR OF GOD
For He says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you. ”Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. (2 Corinthians 6: 2)
Paul’s ministry in the New Testament is the ministry of grace. Therefore, Paul always kept the grace of God in his life by keeping his life from becoming a stumbling block to others.
Likewise, the salvation that we have received is the grace of God. The grace that God gives us as an opportunity to be like Christ. And the opportunity which we receive from God is the time of God's favor.
If God has given us His favor, helped and saved us, then we should also show our love to others. Love other people by helping them and by not being a stumbling block to them.
Pleasing God and pleasing the flesh are completely opposite. But real happiness is not about satisfying what the eye sees, for what the eye can see is only temporary. If we hear and do the truth, we will be happy and will have His favor.
God’s favor comes with God’s presence.
