There is a tension in our everyday life over the results we achieve. At the end of your day, your week, or your career, what will be the results? We believe God the father has given each and every one of us different gifts and talents to be used on this earth to glorify him. What are you doing with the gifts and talents Jesus has given you?
In Matthew 25, Jesus shares the Parable of the Talents. One man is given 5 talents, one man is given 2 talents, and one man is given 1 talent. The first two men doubled their talents. The third man walked away full of fear and buried his talent so he wouldn’t lose it.
Who are you in this story? Are you the person that becomes trapped by fear, afraid that the results in your life are not going to be good enough? Are you the person that excels, and it seems like you are always crushing the results? Do your results drive you, become your identity, and keep you up late at night? Do you trust Jesus with the results?
