Where’s the most tranquil location you’ve visited? What was it that made it so? What do you look for in places of refreshment? Knowing what makes you tick is very helpful in understanding how God will minister to us. Receiving Jesus’ invitation to come to Him is one that satisfies the longing within. This is the reason He uses the analogy of thirst and quenching of thirst in an arid land.

Prayer:

“Jesus, I recognise Your voice speaking to me and as I hear Your invitation to receive from You, I give You my attention, my focus and listening ear to what You have to say. As I am silent, I ask You speak life. Refresh my soul again today. Amen.”
