Day 11;   Jesus is..... my teacher in prayer

Think About:

Jesus invites us to pray and know that God hears us. He teaches us that we don’t need to have big, special words- but we do need to come to God with a humble heart- not ‘just for show’. 

We don’t have to just recite the ‘Lord’s Prayer’- although it is great to memorize it. We can also use it to help us to know what to pray:

We can worship and honour God and remember who he is

We can pray about things in the world that need changing- and ask God to help

We can ask for what we need and ask to be forgiven

We can ask God to help us and others.

What now?

Make time each day to pray for yourself, and for others. 

You could keep a prayer journal and write down your prayers (and answers to them!)

You could ask someone to help you to learn and grow in prayer.
