Through the ChaosSample

I saw a shirt one day with a saying on it that I knew I had to have. The shirt simply said “He is in control.” It’s funny because when I wear it and look in the mirror I take a deep breath while I am reminded of that truth. 

Many of us can say that the season we are in right now is one that took us by surprise.

It may seem that way for us, but not for God. 

We had plans for this season but so does He. He knew what was coming and although it may be harder to see or hear above all the noise I believe His plans are unfolding as well.

There’s always going to be a difference between what we plan and what actually happens. But the Lord orchestrates things so that we end up on the road that He has for us rather than the one we would have chosen for ourselves. He is working behind the scenes all the time. 

Every time in your life that you felt uncertain. 

God was working. 

Each time you were so clueless about how things were going to pan out. 

God was working. 

Through this crazy season of isolation. 

God IS working. 

Even during life’s most chaotic moments God knows exactly what is going to happen and that is something worthy of our trust.

Prayer:

God, I thank you for being the one who is in control of every aspect of my life and this world. I know that difficulties in life often come as a surprise to me but I know that you saw them coming and you also see when they will end. You can see how I will come out of this and most importantly you will walk with me through it. Thank you for never leaving my side. In your precious name, Amen.
