Navigating TransitionSample

Re-orientation: Prayer of Examen (4)
Lord, I do want to know Your will. Help me to work with Your Holy Spirit to renew my mind.
The renewing of our minds is a gradual process. It happens through regular reflection, with the Holy Spirit, on our emotions, desires, attractions, and repulsions during each day. The Prayer of Examen provides a framework of questions for this: Did they help you grow in faith, hope and love? Did they make you more generous with your time and talent? Did they make you feel more alive, whole, and human? Or did they lead you away from God? Did they make you less faithful, hopeful, and loving? Did they cause you to become more self-centred or anxious? With renewed minds we ‘will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – His good, pleasing and perfect will’.
