Living With Honor Sample

Day 08: Battle Rattle
Pray
Lord God, quiet my soul and open my mind and heart to receive your Word. Amen.
Read
Ephesians 6:10-20
Reflect
Every morning, I put on my uniform. During exercises, I strap on my protective gear. I couldn't survive without it. So, similarly, I cannot survive without eternal protection. On whose strength should I rely? Who is the real enemy? What does God give me to fight that enemy? Which piece of armor is the hardest for me to put on?
Respond
Lord, each morning, help me to put on my eternal protective gear. I serve you because I love you. Thank you for always being with me. Amen.
