DIY for the Soul

DAY 31 OF 34

These two verses in Proverbs 3  are packed with so many great truths. I memorized them as a young person, not realizing at the time how impactful they would be on my life.

The year 2020 has been a challenging year, to say the least. We have a worldwide pandemic, coupled with great political and social unrest in our nation. It is in times like these that we need to cling to Jesus.—trust Him because his ways are greater than our ways. If I put my faith in an economy or political party, those things will ultimately fail me. However, when my faith is in Christ alone and I understand that He is sovereign, there is no need for me to worry about the economy or political climate.

When I submit to God’s will and His authority over my life, He will make my path straight.

Are there areas of your life that you have not given over to God? Do you need to surrender complete control and ask Him into your life? If so, today is the day. Do not wait another day to enjoy the peace that only God can bring.

About this Plan

DIY for the Soul

2020 has been an incredibly challenging year. If you're like me, you're exhausted, a little on edge and uncertain about the future. You may look ok on the outside, but how are you doing on the inside? Most importantly, how's your soul? Many of our souls are damaged, neglected or unhealthy. DIY for the Soul focuses on renovating and caring for the most important aspect of our lives, our souls.
