"I Stand In Awe" - Chris Quilala
Psalm 33:8 says, “Let all the earth fear the LORD; Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.” We see the fingerprint of God in all of creation. He put the stars in their place forming galaxies that are far beyond measure. Even in all the complexities and vastness of His creation He sees us and chooses to make us His dwelling place. 2 Corinthians 6:16, “And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they shall be My people.” The song, “I Stand in Awe” is about asking God to give us a greater awareness of His eternal kingdom that we are anchored in. Inviting Him to peel back the blinders that keep us from seeing His beauty and majesty that is all around us. “Open my eyes to see more of Your majesty, more of Your wonder and Your worth”
How would we live if we were constantly aware of His presence? How would we worship Him if we had an even greater revelation that the creator of the universe is walking among us? Today I encourage you to pause and focus on the truth that God dwells within you. Stand in awe, amazed by who He is.
