Fight for the Faith: A Prayer Journey Thru JudeSample
Day 8
In this journey through Jude, we’re reminded that being “close to Jesus” is far from being “in Christ.”
Not all who came out of Egypt in the exodus found a refuge in the Lord God; even the angels who followed Lucifer brought judgment upon themselves.
Now God brings to mind those who lived in the midst of lawlessness and lewdness in Old Testament times and also faced severe judgment: “just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire” (7).
Once again, Father God, I pray that You confirm to my heart that I am a child of God through belief in Jesus Christ. I ask once again: Use me, Father God, to lead many who are outside of Christ into a living, loving relationship with You!

About this Plan
Jesus said that we will know the truth, and the truth will set us free (John 8:31-32). Yet our enemy, the devil, is bent on twisting God’s truth in his all-out efforts to "steal, kill, and destroy" (John 10:10). The epistle of Jude exhorts us to contend for truth. Let’s pray through Jude, and be emboldened today to fight for the faith!
