SOAP – Psalm 145:1-3 In David’s psalm of praise, He declares His adoration of the Lord and His works. He promises his daily devotion to God for His goodness and His greatness. Believers have the same opportunity to praise God daily, to remember how much God loves us, to meditate on God’s ultimate sacrifice. We must guard our hearts so that we do not forget how much God desires to hear from us, connect with us, and be seen through us. When was the last time you spontaneously praised the Lord, outside of church, outside of your devotion or ministry time, outside of Bible study? Will you begin today determined to speak daily of God’s goodness to someone who needs to hear about Him? Father God, Your great mercy, patience, and love towards me humbles me beyond measure. Many days, I forget that You are passionate about me. Help me to rest in that knowledge choosing to connect, share, and surrender my day and my life to You. Lord, let daily connection with you be my priority and allow no one else to take Your central space in my life or in my heart. I thank You for a love that has made me sane, complete, and whole. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
