DAY 6 OF 30

“Sight For The Blind”

Think of a famous person (Taylor Swift, LeBron James, Jennifer Lawrence, etc.). Can you imagine how many people must be constantly following these celebrities in hopes of getting a picture, an autograph, or a handshake? Jesus was somewhat of a celebrity in His day. Not because He was a great basketball player or because He wrote good songs; but because of the things that He said and did.

In this story, Jesus said that it was “according to their faith” that the blind men were healed. What is faith? If you go to church on a regular basis, you’ve probably heard that word a lot – but what does it mean to you?

Here is an easy way to remember what faith is: think of hope in action. What do you hope for? What are you doing about it? In the story of the two blind men, they had faith (hope) that Jesus would heal them so they followed Him until they met Him (action).

What are you hoping for?
What are you acting on?
Are you a person who has faith in Jesus?

Pray
- Pray and ask God that just like the character in this story, your eyes would be opened and your mouth restored so that you can see what God is doing and you can tell the people around you about the truth of God.

About this Plan

Crash

Anytime a crash occurs everyone involved are impacted and many times forever changed. In the Gospels the same thing happens when people crash into the life of Jesus. Their lives are impacted by his teaching, healing, and love. We want to give you an opportunity for the next 30 days to have your life forever changed by crashing into the life of Jesus by checking out a new story from the Gospels each day.
