Sin
We like to view ourselves as pretty nice people. We might do some wrong things sometimes, but we’re not that bad. This Psalm presents a very different view of us and our sin. From God’s perspective, we are unwise and corrupt. Thankfully the Psalm ends with a question to which we know the answer. Jesus will rescue people from their sin!
Without Jesus, we would be truly lost. We would still be sinners in God’s eyes and just as corrupt as this Psalm says.
