There's Hope For TodaySample
For the most part, the church lives with false self-imposed limitations that have nothing to do with God’s Word or will. Look carefully through your Bible and see how God works.
Age is not a limiter. Abraham was 100 and Sarah was 90 when the promise was fulfilled. Failure is not a limiter. Moses blew forty years trying to do God’s will his way. Singleness is not a limiter. One with God is a majority – and more than enough. Location is not a limiter. He is the same whether in a dungeon, or on a mountaintop. Ethnicity is not a limiter. The Gospel crosses every color, tongue, tribe, and strata. Education is not a limiter. He uses the scholarly Pharisee (Paul) and the lowly fisherman (Peter). Background is not a limiter. He uses former demoniacs, prostitutes, swindlers, soldiers, and kings. Opportunity is not a limiter. He is the Way-Maker; the Gift Giver; the Window of Heaven, and the Door no man can shut.
He doesn’t need a passport or visa. He doesn’t need an investment banker or a project cost analysis. He is our Healer, Sustainer, sufficient grace, and ever-present help in times of trouble.
It’s high time we cast aside our limitations that we might rise to our potential.
