Trouble MakersSample
//Now//
I’ve always had trouble living in the moment. It’s just the way I’m wired. I’m always thinking about some far off dream. My head is often filled with a lot of some days...
It’s easy to think that some day you will be different.
Some day you will have the kind of life that you know God is calling you to.
Some day you will have the self-discipline to read your Bible and pray daily.
Some day you will stop that sinful habit that keeps tripping you up.
Some day you will forgive them for what they said.
Some day you will tell them about Jesus.
Some day...
What if some day never comes? I mean, we can’t predict the future, and there’s so much that we don’t have control over...
What if all we have is right now?
What if some day is today?
What if today you are different?
What if today you live the kind of life that you know God is calling you to?
What if today you have the self-discipline to read your Bible and pray?
What if today you stop that sinful habit that keeps tripping you up?
What if today you forgave them for what they said?
What if today you tell them about Jesus.
What if today...
God is calling you to be a trouble maker today. Seize this moment, don’t get so caught up dreaming about tomorrow that you make excuses about today. Make your some day, today.
- REFLECT: What is God calling you to do, today?
- REACH: How can you show the love of Jesus to someone, today?
- RESPOND: Pray, “Father, help me to focus on what You have given me, today. You are at work right here, right now. Help me to be a part of what You are doing, not just what You will be doing.”

About this Plan
It’s time to upset the status quo. Following Jesus means going against the flow, being a misfit, causing trouble. It’s time to become trouble makers.
