How amazing is that? Think about the myriads of people who are now in heaven because One Life was willing to sacrifice all. That One Life is Jesus Christ. But each of us has a choice while on this earth; are we willing to be that one life that makes a difference in our generation? God has created each one of us with a purpose and an opportunity to impact the times we live in. I hope you are all in and you enthusiastically say, “Big or small, I’m willing for it all. This journey is ours—let’s go!”

When I think about Melissa and Jeremy, their humble beginning and sweet innocence, I am reminded that the Lord is looking for men and women who have a heart for Him. Jesus is asking you to follow Him wholeheartedly and He promises He will make you a fisher of men! There is a mighty harvest waiting for you to partake in! There will be suffering along your journey, but Jesus will show up strong and powerful for you. He will show you the path of life, draw you into His presence, and give you fullness of joy and pleasures forevermore.

Remember our sufferings and afflictions are just momentary; in comparison to the everlasting glories of heaven, our troubles, pain, and sorrows are only light temporary afflictions. I in no way want to discount the intense pain many suffer in this life, but be encouraged that one day you will say, “It was all worth it!” Hang on sweet soul, relief is coming, and your reward will be great.

Until that day comes, live passionate, extraordinary lives. Love like Jesus, risk loving others with your whole heart, do not hold back. Strive for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus. He wants to bring the greatest value out of your life! Make it count!

Reflection

“If one life comes to know Jesus Christ as their Savior because of what I go through, it will all be worth it.”

Pour out your heart to the Lord. Tell Him all your fears, worries, and concerns, including all the things that are holding you back. Seek Him with all your heart and you will find Him. He is right there with you!
