Living in a Reset WorldSample

Living in a Reset World

DAY 5 OF 9

Be prepared to innovate.

Old methods may not be relevant in a new context. What worked in the past may not work in the present. We notice this in action in the story of David and Goliath. Saul put on his armor for David because it made logical sense to do that. That’s what you normally wear when going to war.

However, David understood the context and realized that he needed a method that would be relevant for the current context. So, he abandoned the armor, the sword and the helmet because he could not walk in it (which implies he could not make progress). He took five smooth stones and his sling to take down his enemy. We know how the rest of the story went - he was victorious in battle and killed Goliath.

The implication of this is for us to be flexible, innovative and creative. We need to understand what works in the new normal and adapt to it.

About this Plan

Living in a Reset World

The world as we know it has changed in the last few months thanks to the pandemic. Our lives might never go back to the normal we knew before this. I’d like to share with you some important lessons we can learn from the lives of some biblical heroes that will help us thrive in this "reset world".
