God’s Amazing Plan

One of our single ladies was struggling with her life mission. Will I one day marry? Is there a diamond in my DNA that I have not found yet? She began to pray, and heard the word “missions.” She thought to herself, “I’ve gone on many missions trips, so I guess I’m going on another one soon.” Two weeks later, the pastor of our church asked her if she would come on staff and be the missions coordinator. She was blown away, and of course she accepted.

Do you know that you were wonderfully and fearfully made, and God has a good purpose and plan for your life today? It might not be a huge ministry, but you might have a daily calling that would impact your world. Do you know what your passion is? I wasn’t aware I was called to minister to women until I sat with the Lord, being still and letting Him search my heart. Helping women felt so far out of my comfort zone, but as I continued changing, many women began asking me for help. I could feel something birthing in me, and 30 years later I can truly say it’s my passion. 

Let me ask you a question. Will you begin sitting still and asking God to reveal His heart for you? What are His plans and purposes for you? Have you asked the Lord? 

Some of you may be afraid of where He will send you. But can you surrender your ways to His ways? I have found that surrendering to His will and being obedient to Him is my happy place. I thrive when I am ministering to women. In what area does He want you to thrive?

Pray:

Lord, I choose to be still. Thank You that I can know You personally and can hear Your voice. Help me continue to live a lifestyle of freedom.

Be Still:

Take time to write down things that you are passionate about. What do you love doing? Then begin to ask the Lord if there is a hidden diamond in you that you are not seeing. There’s so much more that God has in store for you.

I pray that you’re experiencing some new freedoms through this 12-day journey and that you’ve tasted more of the Lord and that you’re in a deeper relationship with Him than when you started. That you can hear His voice and sense His nearness. I also pray you’re beginning to live a lifestyle of repentance and forgiveness. Be aware that we can all live wounded, so if that tries to slide back in, be quick to repent and replace with the things of God.
