When God Orders Your Steps: How to Get a Grip on Your TimeSample
IT HAPPENED TO ME – PART TWO
I’m sure you can imagine how it all turned out. First, Dad was up early, had breakfast and was packed and ready to go an hour ahead of time! Thank You, Lord.
Driving to the airport, we had no trouble at all with traffic—no delays at all. Thank You, Lord.
Then even though it was crowded at the airport departure drop-off area, I was able to stop, get my dad’s luggage out of the trunk, hug him, and send him on his way. Later he called me from his gate saying that there were no lines checking in his luggage and no lines at security – it was a breeze. Thank You, Lord.
As I drove away from dropping him off, there was a sign right there leading me to rental car return! The signage was great for the whole five miles, and just as I dropped the car without incident and walked towards the shuttle stop, the bus to my terminal pulled up, ready to take me to the airport. Thank You, Lord.
Inside the terminal, every airline had a huge line to check baggage—except mine! Thank You, Lord.
I got in line behind about four people, checked in in minutes, and headed off to security—where there was another huge line, except I had TSA pre-check and there was no line there and I was through security in minutes! Thank You, Lord.
Later, even though the concourse where my gate was located was crammed with people, I was able to find a quiet place in the next concourse over to sit and work until my flight. Thank You, Lord.
As I sat looking out the window in my quiet spot, I thanked God all over again. It was actually fun to walk it all out with Him, thanking Him every step of the way and watching Him just set everything in order.
