The Fullness of God

Life isn’t always easy. Unfortunately there will be times when we face trials. But no matter the circumstance, nothing can separate us from God’s love. 

Understanding the width and depth of God’s love toward you can be life changing. 

One of the biggest shifts happens when Christ makes his permanent home in our hearts. We can even take it a step further. 

Did you know we can be filled with the fullness of God? Your innermost being can be flooded with God himself (Ephesians 3:19) and you can begin to comprehend the power of His love. 

Paul says it beautifully in Ephesians 3:17-18 “May you be rooted deep in love and founded securely on love, that you may have the power and be strong to apprehend and grasp with all the saints [God’s devoted people, the experience of that love] what is the breadth and length and height and depth [of it];

Even when life is hard, God’s love for us never stops. God’s love never changes. No situation or circumstance can stop Him from loving you. Paul says in Romans 8 nothing in creation, not even death, can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus. 

When we are in the valley, it’s normal to feel frustrated, anxious or upset. But we can’t let these feelings overtake us. For we are always standing in God’s love.

Even when we don’t understand our situation, we can rest in the fact that God can use all things together for our good (Romans 8:28). 

For his ways are higher than our ways and his thoughts are higher than our thoughts. God knows more than we do. As humans our vision is often two-dimensional. We can’t see everything, but God sees in 3-D. He can see all sides of a situation. He knows what is happening before and after. 

So we trust that nothing is too hard for God and nothing surprises him.

Take Action:

Finally, I want you to close your eyes for a second and imagine Jesus sitting in the Heavenly temple on His throne. Now picture Him praying for you, pleading on your behalf. He lives to make intercession for YOU. He is for you from everlasting to everlasting.
