Fear Not — God Is With You

DAY 5 OF 5

Fear Paralysis.

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy‬ ‭1:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Fear has no place in the life of a Believer. According to Strong’s Concordance, the Greek word for “Fear” is, ‘deilia’ (G1167) which means, “Timidity, fearfulness, cowardice.” God has not given you the spirit of fear, timidity, fearfulness, or cowardice — but God has given you power to conquer fear.

Fear was meant to paralyze you from pursuing your purpose. Fear was sent to act as a stumbling block in order to stunt your growth in Christ. Fear will attempt to choke your destiny. Choose not to bow to fear — choose to surrender to Christ.

In fact, Luke‬ ‭10:19‬ ‭KJV‬‬ declares, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” God has given you the authority, power, and might to tread over all the power of the enemy — including the weapon of fear.

Isaiah‬ ‭54:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬ declares, “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.” There is no weapon, strategy, trick, or snare that the enemy can deploy that will harm you.

You are His Child. God is with you and fear has no authority to reign in your life. Don’t let fear paralyze your joy. Don’t let fear choke your peace. Don’t let fear stunt your faith. Rebuke fear and move forward in Christ.
