CHAT-A-BOX Pt 2. Being HumanSample

CHAT-A-BOX Pt 2. Being Human

DAY 5 OF 5

CONVERSATION STARTERS

Q1) What would you save in a fire if you could only save one thing?

Q2) How do you treat things that are precious to you?

What does the Bible say is precious?

  • We are precious to God.

See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! (1 John 3:1a)

But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. (Romans 5:8)

  • God’s love is precious.

How precious is your unfailing love, O God! All humanity finds shelter in the shadow of your wings. (Psalm 36:7)

  • The good news about Jesus is precious.

Hold on to the pattern of wholesome teaching you learned from me—a pattern shaped by the faith and love that you have in Christ Jesus. Through the power of the Holy Spirit who lives within us, carefully guard the precious truth that has been entrusted to you. (2 Timothy 1:13-14)

  • Our faith in Jesus is precious.

These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honour on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world. (1 Peter 1:7)
