God | God Is Grace

Grace is giving you what you do not deserve. Grace occurs when God’s goodness confronts your sin. You don’t deserve to be in God’s favor. No matter how much good you do, you can never make up for your sins. However, even though you don’t deserve it, grace brings you into God’s favor.

Most of us have felt like we don’t measure up. We go through seasons when we feel like things are going well, and we have everything under control. Then something happens, and we blow it. We feel like we’ve completely messed up our chance to walk in relationship with God, but we have forgotten that God is grace.

And here’s what’s so amazing about grace. It cannot be earned—it’s free. Grace is what makes Christianity different from every other religion. They all have a list of requirements to be met in order to be accepted. Christianity is the only religion that does not do this. Instead, it offers you grace, which allows you to have a relationship with God in spite of the fact that you do not deserve it!

Do you feel like you’ve messed up too badly to ever be forgiven? Are you trying to gain God’s favor by what you do? Stop trying to earn it. You can’t. You just need to accept it. Receive God’s grace, and allow God to set you free today.
