Time Well Spent

DAY 14 OF 21

Reflect back on the last couple of weeks, and see if you can think of some things you may have experienced regarding your current state of mind. Did any of your thoughts revolve around how exhausted you were? Whether there is a circumstance or a person making our days difficult, we can become trapped in the daily grind of life. Empathy is what changes our hearts. How would you respond if a friend shared how their heart was burdened? Would you want to encourage them and help lighten their load if you could?

This is what Jesus wants to do for you. When you spend time with God, you’ll begin to understand that Jesus gently acknowledges your hardships without judgment and invites you to learn from Him. He offers this invitation so you can take comfort in Him and find rest for your soul. He waits for you with open arms.

Today, ask yourself what burdens you are holding onto. Ask Jesus for the strength to lay them down at His feet and to step into the rest that He offers.

About this Plan

Time Well Spent

We all want to be intentional. We all want our lives to matter. One simple thing we can do is to change how we start our day, and the best way to start our day is to hear what Jesus has to say. When we start there, it will change how we see things and how we live our lives.
