Epic (Part 4): The Storyline Of The BibleSample
Now that the Feast of Shelters is over, the people gather again to confess that they have not been faithful to God and commit to follow him in the future. Their prayer follows typical pattern of reviewing Israel’s history and highlighting the great things God has done for them, as well as how unfaithful the people have been.
The story of everyone’s life is probably similar, but how often do you admit it? Sometimes prayers can turn into lists of things we want from God, and we forget to admit we don’t actually deserve the things for which we are asking.

About this Plan
This is final part of a four part plan to read the books of the Bible that tell of the historical events. Although the Bible contains many stories, it is one epic story of God’s interactions with humanity. One day per week can be used to catch up on missed readings or for reflection. Notes are also included to assist with understanding.
