Come to the Garden: Focusing on Jesus Sample

On Resurrection Sunday, when the devoted women in Jesus’ life were on their way to the tomb to anoint His precious body with spices, they were wondering who would roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb. Little did they know that the prophecy had been fulfilled; their Savior had risen from the dead, just as He said He would! All the prophecies of the Old Testament came to fulfillment at this moment. The Messiah, Jesus Christ, who was with God at the beginning of the world, left heaven to die a criminal’s death on the cross so that you and I could be close to God. The veil was torn, there was no longer any separation between God and His children, for those of us who choose to believe. By turning our hearts to Jesus and inviting Him to be Lord of our lives, we now have the chance to live a completely new life in Christ. Turning our eyes away from our sin and onto Jesus, we now have a whole new story and the opportunity to live eternally with Jesus in heaven. Do you know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior? Your eternity is awaiting your decision. Will you pray with me today?

“Dear God, I know I’m a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe that He died for my sins and that you raised Him to life. I want to trust Him as my Savior and follow Him as my Lord, from this day forward. Guide my life and help me to do Your will. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.”
