Families in Need

We will never know the depth of need that those around us face. Even our closest friends and family have needs that we’ve never fully realized. Today, we pray specifically for those needs and that God would use us as an instrument for relief.

Who are the people in your community that are going through a hard time? Who are the people that seem fine on the outside, but may have their own turmoil under the surface? How might God use you as a vessel of love and grace in the lives of those around you?

God loves his people through his people. That means that as we pray for families in need, we can also ask God to use us to meet their needs. Here’s a prayer to start...

Lord, we pray for the many families in need that fill our communities. Many of these families are hanging on by a thread. We know you show up strongest in the deepest valleys of life. Provide for these families, and use us as your instruments of support and grace in their lives. Amen.
