Lent: Remembering the Life of JesusSample

Lent: Remembering the Life of Jesus

DAY 29 OF 47

Parable: King’s Ten Servants

Bible Reading: Luke 19:11-27

Further Study

  • How did the king respond to the two men who multiplied the money he gave them? What about the one who did nothing with his?
  • What is the point of this parable and what can you learn from it?
  • This parable is less about showing mercy and more about justice. What did you read that lines up with this?

Reflect

  • Worship: Write down one attribute of God and worship Him for who He is.
  • Prayer: Pray for the salvation of people in your life who don’t know Jesus.
  • Remembrance: Think about a time when you multiplied something. Write about it.
  • Self-Examination: With all that God has given you to steward, are you multiplying it or stowing it away?

A Kind Act

  • Text someone a kind note first thing in the morning.

About this Plan

Lent: Remembering the Life of Jesus

The season of Lent is a period leading up to Easter Sunday. It’s a time of reflection on Christ’s life, from His birth to His death. There’s a daily reflection piece for each of the 47 days of this Plan. We encourage you to get a small journal to write your thoughts down. Begin this Plan on Ash Wednesday, and your final day will be on Easter Sunday.
