A Kid's Guide To Luke

DAY 7 OF 7

Jesus Can Prove Himself To Doubters

Someone finally announced that the earth was not flat. Was it Eratosthenes, Columbus, Magellan? There are so many ancient dates and people to memorize for history class. Let’s see, the first true photographic proof of the earth’s spherical form didn’t occur until 1946. Or, was it 1947?

It can be easy to question whether something is really true. The roundness of earth. Whether cream-filled sandwich cookies actually have any cream in them. If Jesus did come back from the dead. Even Jesus’ closest friends doubted He could die and then come alive. But Jesus proved his aliveness—He ate with them and showed them His wounds from the cross (Luke 24:36-43). And, doubting Thomas—he ditched his doubts for the Truth (John 20:24-29). How about you?

What doubts, if any, do you have about Jesus? Who can help you with the real facts about the Bible? Are you willing to seek so you can find answers?

Go online and find the famous 1972 Blue Marble photograph of the earth. Marvel at the magnificence. Write down your thoughts about God’s creative power and Jesus’ power over death.
