Whether it’s physical, spiritual, or mental, we weren’t created to live under the weight of heaviness and despondency. Regardless of what life or the enemy throws at us, it’s up to us to embrace freedom. Right there, smack-dab in some of our most crippling trials, we can invite the Healer to set us free and celebrate by faith what He’s promised.

Jesus has already declared your breakthrough. What you do while you wait is up to you. If you’ve been stuck in heaviness, shake it off! Sometimes you have to force your body to do what it doesn’t want to do. Dance! Shout your praise! Declare His faithfulness! Praise Him for His goodness! The truth will set you free.

Jesus, I’m not going to allow my situation to dictate how I feel. I refuse to sit around and have a pity-party. I shake off heaviness and put on a garment of praise! You’re worthy, faithful, and you care about me. Nothing’s too hard for you. You’ve already declared my breakthrough … and that’s the truth that sets me free.
