How To Pray For Your WorkSample
When you pray for your work, you can ask God to give you what you need. In Matthew 6:11 Jesus models asking God for exactly what you need today.
“Give us this day our daily bread” (Matthew 6:11).
You may need something practical out of your work today, like money to pay your bills. Or you may need something abstract from God today, like insight on how to finish a difficult project.
Whatever you need, ask God directly in prayer.
Prayer:
Our Father in heaven, __________________ be your name. [List your own words to describe God.]
Your kingdom come __________________. [List the places or the problems where you need God.]
Your will be done.
Give me today __________________. [List exactly what you need from God.]
Forgive me for __________________. [List anything for which you need forgiveness.]
I forgive __________________. [List anyone you need to forgive.]
Save me from __________________. [List your temptations.]
Rescue me from __________________. [List your fears.]
Yours are the kingdom, the power, and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.
