Heaven and earth are colliding when we have an encounter with the Holy One. The eternal meets the temporal. When we ask him to draw us to his love and to be in his presence we will have an encounter that is extraordinarily marvelous and quite literally “out of this world”. 

We will forever be changed when we look into the eyes of Jesus, see his love and his compassion towards us. What we have seen in him can’t be made unseen. Everyone who has ever experienced it can never get enough of him and will agree with the author of Psalm 84: “Better is one day in his house, better is one day in his courts than a thousand elsewhere.” 

Let us not get tired of seeking his presence. Let us not forget what his presence feels like even when the daily duties of life weigh us down and push the magnificence of his throne room towards the back of our minds. Let us not waste another day so we can fulfill his calling on our lives and tell others about him and his love. Let us love extravagantly like he does – everybody, always! Let us never forget that the life he has given us actually belongs to him. 

Without him we are nothing and with him we are everything. With him we have everything and we are heirs of everything that he is. Every moment outside of his presence is wasted so let us be careful with our decisions in life. Let us spend every day within his love until we enter eternity and will be united with him forever.
