I Pray That You Prosper In Every Way.  

“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” 3 John‬ ‭1:2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I wish above all things, that you and your family prospers even as your soul prospers. 3 John‬ ‭1:2‬ ‭AMPC declares‬‬, “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and [that your body] may keep well, even as [I know] your soul keeps well and prospers.” God desires that you prosper in every area of your life — including spiritual and natural things. 

According to Strong’s Concordance, the Greek word for “Prosper” is, ‘euodoō’ (G2137) which means, “To be successful, to grant a prosperous and expeditious journey, to succeed in business affairs.” The Bible teaches us how to excel in spiritual and natural things. In fact, many of the parables that Jesus Christ used often referenced principles that related to business and Earthly matters. 

All throughout the New Testament, Jesus often used Earthly or natural examples to explain spiritual principles. Christ cares about the total man — He cares about your spiritual and natural needs. The Bible is filled with precepts and principles that feed and nourish your spiritual and natural life. 

God wants every area of your life to thrive. He wants every aspect of your life to flourish and that includes your spiritual, financial, mental, physical and emotional needs. 3 John‬ ‭1:2‬ ‭NLT‬‬ declares, “Dear friend, I hope all is well with you and that you are as healthy in body as you are strong in spirit.” 

Your spiritual maturity matters to God. Your emotional well-being matters to God. Your financial wholeness matters to God. Your physical health matters to God. Your psychological and mental health matters to God. You matter to Him. 

In fact, 3 John‬ ‭1:2 MSG‬‬ declares, “We’re the best of friends, and I pray for good fortune in everything you do, and for your good health—that your everyday affairs prosper, as well as your soul!” God even wants your friendships and relationships to prosper. Christ wants everything that’s connected to you to prosper. God wants to lead and guide everything that your hands touch. God wants to be involved in your everyday affairs.

Engage God in your everyday affairs. Before you make a decision, pray and seek God for wisdom, insight and instruction. He cares about every one of your needs.
