Mary's TreasureSample

Dedication Defined
The eighth day obliged circumcision by law
An outward reflection of hearts’ inner flaw.
In following ritual, how could we know
His wounds this own covenant would overthrow.
We chose the name Jesus, from angel received
Decided before mind or body conceived.
The name above names all creation exalts,
Commands time, spans ages, defeats death’s grave vault.
We, offering sacrifice, dedicate him
I pull out a feather from turtledove’s limb
It’s delicate fringe, may it aid me recall
This boy is the Lord’s, I entrust him withal.
About this Plan

In this devotional written from the perspective of Jesus' mother, Mary vulnerably and honestly details the intimate moments of her experience as a mom. In each compelling scene, Mary treasures a small token to remember it by. Little does she know the divine significance each item will play in the ultimate purpose of her son’s role on earth.
