The Kingdom of Heaven

DAY 4 OF 4

Did you know that you are a Kingdom Builder? You were created and designed to build the Kingdom of God on Earth. However, you aren't just building a kingdom. You are creating a culture.

Culture is the combination of things we create and the things we allow.  I think it's time we create a culture of young people who set about creating a Christ-centered culture in our spheres of influence. However, you need to be committed to three things:

First, you need to be committed to a Kingdom culture beyond cultural Christianity. Kingdom Culture can't be built by lukewarm cultural Christianity. It is built upon by an all-in lifestyle of a child of God. You can't build something only living halfway for it. You have to count the cost, and you have to be all in, or all out.

The second thing you need to commit to is Jesus and Jesus only. You need to commit to following Jesus in your daily life, spending time in God's Word and praying to Him. Ask to be filled and guided by His Spirit, daily. You can't build a culture with no fuel in the tank.

The third and last thing you need to commit to is the Kingdom grind. You need to commit to the hard work. You need to continue to fight in the hard times. You need to belong to something greater than yourself. The world needs teenagers with a Kingdom mindset.

The journey God has called you to as a Christian is too great for you to sit back on the sidelines. The Kingdom of God is an all or nothing lifestyle. How will you live?

Reflect

  • What is one way cultural Christianity is different from a Kingdom mentality?
  • How will you live to make Earth look like Heaven?
