The Hidden ThingsSample
It Shall Be Heard In the Light.
“Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.” Luke 12:3 KJV
You cannot live your life one way in private and proclaim something else in public. You cannot live your life as a representative of Christ in public and live for the enemy in private. Who is your God? You choose. Let God lead your lips in private and in public. Let God lead your language in private and in public. Let God lead your actions behind the scenes and in public. Choose not to be a hypocrite.
Don’t live your life one way behind the scenes and live another way in front of the crowds. Let God lead your private life. Let God breathe upon your public life. Don’t live a double life. Don’t waver back and forth between light and dark. Choose a side. Choose who you will serve. Choose who you will represent. Choose to live for Christ both in private and in public.
The Light of Christ will expose the dark and hidden things. His Word will shine on the lust and the entanglement of this world. Luke 12:3 AMPC declares, “Whatever you have spoken in the darkness shall be heard and listened to in the light, and what you have whispered in [people's] ears and behind closed doors will be proclaimed upon the housetops.” Let gossip go.
God wants to trust you with more of His Secrets. God wants to endow you with more power and authority. But if you’re contaminating your witness and your character, behind the scenes with gossip, how can God trust you with more authority, power and honor? Let God use you in private and in public. Watch yourselves carefully and let God lead your footsteps. Let God order your path. What you have spoken in the dark — God will expose it in the light.
