DAY 2 OF 7

Calling out your purpose isn’t enough to be productive.

In order to command the day, you will first need to form a plan on what this entails.

And to do that will require you to evaluate yourself.

What do you want to accomplish? What are some of your long-term goals?

Your long-term goals are important, because they will be what you base your short-term goals on. This cycle of goal setting, goal reaching, and back to goal setting should never stop. It is a process that can, and should, be followed for an entire lifetime. If you are living, you should be focused on growing within your life and within your faith.

With your purpose in mind, write down your long-term goals. Where do you want to be in ten years? What do you want to accomplish? If everything went according to plan, where would you be?

Next, write down the short-term goals that will allow you to reach these long-term goals. What are some stepping stones that will lead you to your long-term goals? Success is a process, not an event. You have to plan out your method of attack.

To command the day is to be in charge of your own life. God has plans for us, but it is through our own choices that we see that plan come to fruition. We are responsible for walking the path that will lead us to unlocking our potential.

Either your day will command you, or you will command your day! If you don’t have a set plan for how you will take over your life, then life will take it over for you.

The choice is up to you.

Today is my day of planning.
